BLOCKROT does not collect anything. It does not connect to the internet.
Nothing. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, no accounts and no networking code of any kind. It makes no requests to any server, including ours.
The game saves your progress — high scores, daily challenge results, streaks, ichor, unlocked upgrades, cosmetics and your settings — using your device's local storage. This data:
The Android app requests permission to show notifications, and only if you switch on the optional daily reminder in Settings. That reminder is scheduled locally on your device. There is no push service, no server and no device token, and nothing leaves your phone. If you decline the permission, the reminder stays off and the rest of the game is unaffected.
BLOCKROT contains horror imagery, sudden loud sounds and deliberate jump scares. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, because we do not collect data from anyone at all.
If a future version ever adds anything that collects data, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the Google Play Data Safety section will be updated to match.
